Estate house transformation and extension in the North York Moors

This project at Lodge House showcases our expertise in transforming a tired estate property into a stunning new principal residence. Located within the breathtaking landscape of the North York Moors National Park, this project was a sensitive, yet modern, intervention designed to both honor the property's heritage and create a home fit for contemporary living.

The core of the design was a new, carefully considered extension. We created a bespoke breakfast room with expansive windows that capture breathtaking views over the surrounding moorland, seamlessly connecting the interior space to the spectacular natural environment. This addition serves as a central hub for the home, providing a light-filled and contemporary space that stands in elegant contrast to the original structure.
