Best One Off House, at the National Local Authority Building Control Awards ceremony at Grosvenor House Hotel in London.

Award for Lebberston Hall, involving extensive refurbishment and extensions to a Victorian House. The project has transformed a dark, tired house into a series of stunning internal spaces overlooking landscaped grounds. The house has featured in the regional press and national design magazines.


RIBA White Rose Award Commendation, for Moss Street Supported Housing in York, on behalf of Yorkshire Housing.

The scheme provides 22 apartments for market sale and a supported housing unit.


Good Design and Construction Award Commendation
Ryedale District Council, for the Sylvan Development Malton.

The scheme of four contemporary dwellings, has also received a number of awards, and been featured in the national press and numerous design awards. The scheme is currently being considered for the National Civic Trust Awards.


Best Residential Architect Resi props 2005

The ‘Resi props’ award for the ‘best residential architect in Yorkshire’ was received at a black tie dinner in Leeds as recognition for our contribution to the residential sector in the region...projects ranging from a major £16m PFI scheme, social housing, a number of private houses throughout the North of England and for involvement in several high calibre architectural competitions Mistress Lane Leeds, The Lister Mills Bradford to name two.

 

Winner of the Community benefit category
RICS PRO Yorkshire awards 2005

The Children’s House Montessori nursery won the award for community benefit. The Presentation was held at a fun, well supported black tie event at Leeds Town Hall.

Bramhall Blenkharn had four schemes short listed for prestigious PRO Yorkshire awards. The schemes were Scampston Walled Garden visitor centre, The Sycamore House, Horsman Avenue and the acclaimed Children’s house.

 

Best Housing Project - Bronze
The Roses Design Awards 2005

The Sycamore House won a Bronze at the ‘Roses Design Awards 2005’. The house in Malton, North Yorkshire, was up against stiff competition including an RIBA Stirling prize 2005 nomination.

 

Hull Civic Trust Award 2005

Jarrett Street (Kingston Court) – Residential development of apartments around a grade listed building in the centre of Hull.

North Yorkshire Building Control

Scampston Walled Garden Visitor Centre and The Star inn, Harome both won the accolade of a highly commended certificate in recognition of quality design and building.

 

Best Access and disability regulation innovation – Nomination
The 2005 LABC National Built in Quality Awards

We await the result for this award, but are proud that Scampston Walled Garden Visitors centre has been nominated against competition such as ‘The Sage’ Gateshead.

An awards ceremony is to be held in the Grosvenor House Hotel, Park
Lane on 20 October 2005.

 

Best Refurbishment Project
The National Brick Awards 2004

Scampston Walled Garden visitor centre won the award for best refurbishment. An awards ceremony was held in a prestigious hotel in London last year.
